The original painting was an acrylic on canvas, developed from a sketch I did whilst sitting next to these two Goddesses in Paris. This really happened, I watched them smoke and drink with equal brevity whilst they shared their magnificent stories. My French is not good enough to understand much but in my mind those stories were huge and fascinating.
What is more French than affairs, romance, seduction and chain smoking!
