L'ermitage invited me to do an evening of live sketching on a Friday night at the hotel. Toledo Diamond does the most exciting Burlesque show which I have been priviledged to see quite a few times. He is a fabulous character and we have struck up a warm relationship. Back to the painting, which began that evening and I admit to completing in my studio at a later date. I was captivated the entire time I worked on it.
