During my artist's residency with The Red Carnation group, I decided to make an acrylic painting of this Iconic hotel, located directly opposite of Kensington Park. 
 
I have always loved the way the Sentries look in their vibrant uniforms. The reds and blacks are so striking. They were created digitally and I admit I loved making this piece of art. It's a magical time to be a painter in this city where we are celebrating the Coronation. 
 
Can't you hear the horns resonating throughout the capitol city as the Coronation kicks off and the pageantry and colours wash over the city?
